Part Feeding Coils

Automatically fed parts are move along a track by an electro magnet turning on and off with the normal cycles of AC current.

  • Coil sizes are standardized by using stock transformer lamination steel and bobbins

  • Coil performance is affected by:
    • Lamination size and stack height
    • Magnet wire size and turns
    • Temperature class of magnet wire
    • Supporting components

  • Customer preferences:
    • Coil and Lamination overmolded with liquid epoxy or tape wrapped dipped in varnish
    • Laminations welded or bolted to mounting block
    • Mounting blocks, size and thread location 
    • Mounting blocks mounted to mating “I” lamination armature
    • Length of power cord
